Umbria
is quite a small region, but while visiting it you discover it is
made up of a mosaic of “many Umbrias”.
The “green” Umbria with hills covered
with its olives and its rural medieval villages.
The “relishing” Umbria, offering genuine
products and flavors belonging to the farmer's traditions. The “warm”
Umbria of wines: from the Sagrantino di Montefalco to the Rosso
di Torgiano, from the Trasimeno area’s white wines to those
of Orvieto which can all be enjoyed in their natural context.
It is a region of saints and great spirituality:
Saint Francis, Saint Clair of Assisi and Montefalco, Saint Benedict
from Norcia and Saint Rita from Cascia, are only a few of them.
